Oh Brother!

Alex's full name is Alexander Neils Zobler.  Alex was born on April 27, 1986 and is the youngest of the three brothers, but on the contrary is the largest.  Standing well over six feet tall and over 200 pounds, it is difficult to trace back why he is so big.  We have only just now determined that it came from Icelandic and Austrian roots. Hopefully we will have a better understanding his "oddity" when we travel to Iceland for a large family reunion.

Alex has become a very special part of my life.  Only two years younger than me, we have become very close.  I see more and more of me in him everyday.  When we were younger, we used to fight a lot, but we fought because we were so much alike (except when my brother put sparring gear on us and made us punch each other in the face).

When Alex was 12, he underwent a brain surgery that could have been fatal.  The surgery took place in Boston because we wanted the best to do it.  After many prayers, they were answered and Alex's surgery was a success.  This surgery made us grow closer and I now can appreciate his individuality and his love for music.  Alex listens to a variety of music and is surprisingly fond of classical music.  Alex took the piano for about 5 years, but decided to quit to take up the guitar.  He is currently in chorus and most recently was accepted into Chamber (select) chorus.  In addition to chorus, Alex participates in voice lessons and many plays.

Alex has blossomed into a wonderfully, artistic young man.  I am glad that we have gotten to know each other better over the past few years.  He is a big part of my life and I love him dearly.
